Amaterra was taken aback by the images in his mind, not only because this monster that Solranous was projecting into his mind appeared huge and incredibly powerful, but because Solranous was projecting an image into his mind at all. Gathering his thoughts, he mentally replied, "We must hurry, then, and at least beat him back if we can."
Thinking for a second, he added, "I say we should - I think the word is inventory - our powers before we act. We have to know how we will work together before we fight a greater enemy. I once read books about small forces taking on larger, stronger ones and winning because they knew how to fight more right. I change energy around me - I levitate here by moving heat and wind to keep me up. I can also suck up energy around me, and that is how I put out the fires in... Vancouver?... the city earlier. But I can also make energy do other things for me." At that thought, Amaterra focused on what memories remained of his escape from captivity, of his sudden release of years of pent-up energy and radiation into a series of blasts that propelled him upward and outward. He didn't know if he could send images to Solranous, or if he could pick them out of his head when he thought them, but he tried anyway. If the monster could see his escape, then he would understand the tiny Kaiju's powers.

(ooc: mind if I join?) :Ebony City, Nevada:
Cicadarran felt it... Psychic emanations... Massive ones from the West. He rose to his feet and sent a telepathic message to the Governor, who he reported his actions to.
I'm leaving for a short time, there is something I must investigate he said before spreading his wings and taking to the sky. The Ebony city had not been attacked yet, and Cicadarran had not had to act in it's defense yet... He felt no immediate threats now and felt the city would be fine without him for a short time.
He darted West heading towards the source... whatever it was, it felt intelligent, and the cloying tendrils of this... affliction had not taken hold. Whatever it was... could it be a fellow giant? He knew it would not attack him without provocation, or so he hoped.
He sent out a message to this mind...
"I've sensed your presence from the east, and I am coming to you. I am not an enemy." And the Great beetle flew on, approaching at his fastest speed, mach 3. "If you can hear me, please respond."

"Riptide, this is HQ. We've deteccted an unusal disturbance south of the border. The Arkbird is moving in to observe and report. However, reports from Caracas indicate that some sort of monster hit the city and is turning north. General Williams wants you to disengage from this meeting and prepare to intercept. Depending on where it crosses the border, you may have additional support."
"Gotcha. Riptide out." Ben turned to the other monsters gathered here, who were either talking amongst themselves or just ignoring him completely. Either way, they didn't seem to need his presence. "Hey, guys," he called out. "I hate to seem rude, but I've got other business to attend to. The offer for a meeting still stands."
And then, without waiting for a response, Ben engaged Riptide's engines and headed back to base. So far, everything seemed to be ok with these sentient monsters. All in all though, he liked them better when they were big animals for the most part. The cobalt and silver machine ascended into the skies and headed east, towards CEEHQ.

Solranous' eyes closed as he watched the memories Amaterra was focusing on, seeing the smaller kaiju's potential battle capabilities. "So I see, so I understand." Solranous replied. This little one had the right idea, they needed to know what all they could do with their powers. Again, the dragon painted pictures in Amaterra's mind, this time of himself, displaying his abilities in a mock battle against several generic, weak monsters. His capabilities to manipulate energy and form weapons out of them, swords, spears, maces, bows and arrows; the blast of pure energy he could launch from his maw, his flames, as well as his numerous close range weapons, claws, fangs, tail blades.
If it wasn't clear before, he had no doubt that Amaterra now realized he was structured for wars like these. Solranous then blinked, picking up another telepathic force, and turned towards its general direction, answering back, "I hear you, and I understand that we are both on the same side in this great war. The more friends we find, the better we will be when all hell breaks loose."
Finished, he then looked at Kisara, and nodded to her. The draconic woman took off without a word, trying to follow Riptide's trail so that they could work meeting details.

Cicadarran landed and stared up at his contact... The great lizard dwarfed him, being over twice his size. The other kaiju, if he could be called that, was tiny. He observed both with his large eyes.
He reached out to the other's mind, and spoke while bowing slightly.
"Greetings, I am Cicadarran, protector of Ebony City." He said in their heads. He looked to the dragon. "You speak of a great war... is this related to the presence I have felt of late? This... corruption?" He asked.

Solranous nodded, "The corruption you noticedis the direct cause of the war we are now fighting. I am Solranous, and our smaller companion is Amaterra. I come from an alternate dimension which I have fought for several times, many eras ago." he explained, returning the bow.
"It brings hope to my heart to see so many of us unaffected by the Madness, the corruption we all noticed, hope that we can be victorious in this battle." he continued, smiling openly.

"Greetings, Cicadarran," Amaterra thought to the other minds, bowing towards the over-sized insect. While Solranous dwarfed even this newcomer, Amaterra felt yet smaller in its presence. "Solranous and I intend to battle a much larger enemy, and we need your help. If we are to fight this huge monster, we should not delay. There are at least three of us, and if we are smart, we can keep this thing at bay for some time. We can depend on others to be there already, but I have a feeling we will not be the only ones there. I would like you, Solranous, to grab of me for the flight so I can conserve my energies. So let us go..."
"LET US FIGHT!" the tiny kaiju reared his head back and bellowed, with emphasis and gravel abounding amidst the surprising volume of the declaration. The water below shook with massive ripples as a great hot wind welled beneath him, his body turning away from Solranous and then leaning back towards him. In an instant, he launched himself in the air towards the great dragon, arms across his chest, bracing for Solranous to catch him.

The dragon did indeed catch him, but to the smaller Kaiju's surprise, Solranous set him back down, shaking his head, "No..." he began, "It is too soon, we won't make any difference if we charge in now. I have no doubt that Orochi will turn his life draining abilities on us directly to tip the fight in his favor. We would only throw our lives away if we attacked now..." Solranous explained.
"Amaterra, Cicadarran..." the dragon continued again, letting both Kaiju hear his voice, "We must split up for now and seek out more allies, it will likely take a small army of Kaiju at the very least to defeat Orochi. If we go in seperate ways, we'll be able to cover more ground and more easily find potential allies. Orochi is bound to not be the only source of this madnesss, we must not let other parts of the world crumble under the efforts of other beings infected by the Madness. Think of this as our stronghold, a place we can retreat to, should the battle prove more difficult then we anticipated. In this same vein, I'm sensing an intruder to this country. I need you two to try and contact potential allies while I deal with another enemy. Regardless, though, what you do now is up to you, and I bid you good luck and godspeed in whatever path you take."
With that said, the dragon lifted himself into the sky, angling himself in the direction of the infected Kaiju he sensed, and surged forth, accelerating to his top speed within a minute, and soon leaving the remaining two Kaiju to themselves.

Cicadarran was impressed by the Tiny Kaiju's apparent power and enthusiasm... But Solranous' response was unexpected and distressing.
He nodded. "farewell, Solranous." he said as the Dragon left. He turned to Amaterra. "Friend... I do not know much of other kaiju, and I doubt we are as powerful as Solranous... What say you we work together to find more allies? There is strength in numbers after all." He asked.

Amaterra found Solranous' parting words discomforting. At least they had a location where they could convene when necessary - that was reassuring. Everything else, however, was an unpleasant slap in the face with the reality of their situation. A fight was simple, an easy rallying cry, an immediate objective. Finding allies to better your odds of winning was not. Amaterra was smart enough to understand the truth of the matter when the dragon spoke it - that the odds were so out of their favor, that it was critical to do as he suggested. The harder path was what lay ahead of them - to allow a little more destruction and death, at least for now, to prevent much more later in the wake of what would be their defeat.
"It is a good idea to stay together, but I do not know what we will find. I have no allies," Amaterra thought sadly to the other psychic Kaiju, this Cicadarran as it called itself. "I wish Solranous had not left us in a hurry. I am not a leader. He is. I do not know where to go first. I do not know who to find or where. I do not know how to make people fight for something."
"Maybe you do...?" he thought hopefully.

Cicdarran shrugged.
"All I can do is tell them about this... Orochi. I can explain to them what's happening. But they make their own choices." He narrowed his eyes. "Though with what's going on around them I doubt they can deny the truth... They'll be obligated to help."
His head turned, he detected psychic emission like thousands screaming towards the northeast.
"Something's wrong. Come, Friend. Ride with me, it'll help conserve your energy." He said.
(ooc: another short one, in a rush, sorry)

Amaterra perked up at the invitation. He couldn't allow himself to wallow in hopelessness, but he almost felt guilty in letting the idea of a pending conflict charge his psyche. But that was a silly thought - it wasn't the notion of the destruction, the death of innocents that was reinvigorating him. It wasn't even the anticipation of the struggle, fighting for life and limb against odds that couldn't be predicted. The desire for survival certainly got the adrenaline pumping, but there was something more below the surface that dragged his mind clear of the mire of self-doubt and fear.
"I'll stay with you... friend," he thought to Cicadarran, "and together we shall give it our best to conquer whatever comes our way."[/i] He thrust himself through the air towards the enormous insect, preparing to be caught in its sizable arms.
"Let'ss go," he shouted.
